I will make you retreat from every frontier

I will create an illusion
of all the things you want to be.
I will make you contemptuous
scornful, superfluous
I will make you pointless in whatever you do.

I will make you resentful
I will hold the mirror of ridicule

I will mock you in your grief
I will bring misery

I am death
making you dance to the music of life
